Fiat 500 side mirror replacement

below a short video on the steps to dismantle and reassemble the side mirror and its caps of your Fiat 500.

It may sound silly, but when a mechanical respectable asked me $ 300 to replace the entire part I feel compelled to share it with people like me who might need it.

MATERIAL FOR REPLACEMENT GLASS MIRROR, MIRROR OF WHOLE OR CAPS:
- 1 pair of pliers
- 1 screwdriver
- 1 torch

Here's the procedure:

1) ADJUSTING MIRROR

Through the adjustment keys, place the mirror in order to facilitate insertion and finger grip.

2) REMOVING THE MIRROR

Take the mirror with your fingers and proceed to carefully detach from its motor support, the pins will drop your light stress. Pay attention to the two cables that you can disconnect or alternatively leave connected.

Be careful not to drop it !! :)

3) REMOVING CAPS

4) IDENTIFY THE SPRING AND PIN
